THE PIRATES TREASURE - Digital Download

'The Pirates Treasure' is a great indoor game for kids & the whole family, the best part is it has 2 different ways to play! 
Option 1
You can use it as a way to wrap a gift, where your child must decipher and solve the puzzles in the Pirate scroll to retrieve the combination and unlock their present! (This is a great way of adding extra fun into their birthday, especially now they can't go anywhere!)
With the 'Puzzle Box' you will literally get to lock their present away until they solve the puzzles. This way the fun of gift giving wont be over when they eagerly rip open the wrapping, it is way more fun. 
Or 
Option 2 
You can simply use it as a game to play as a family during Lockdown.
All you would need to do when setting up the game is write the correct code (you will be given this in your set up instructions) on a piece of paper and place it face down on the table. At the end of the game when you think you have the correct combination turn the piece of paper over.
You could even make it exciting of the kids by giving them 'Tasty Treasure'(Chocolate) when they get the code correct!

The Story 
Your ancestor 'Captain Salvador' has left you a scroll with a series of puzzles hidden within which you must solve in order to unlock the treasure
This is perfect for Kids aged 7+, who are escape room/puzzle enthusiast, Pirate lovers or just someone who loves a challenge! (However if you are doing it as a family younger kids will enjoy it as well) 
What you will need to get (Unless you are going for option 2)
•    A box or something you can lock their gift in
•    Chain, long enough to wrap around the Box (or you can use ribbon and loop it at both ends so you can attach the padlock 
•    3 Digit combination lock, you can get them on ebay for £0.99
•    For the ‘Word Search’ puzzle I would recommend using a felt tip pen, this to make the lines more visible.
•    If you want to get the authentic look of a ‘Pirate Scroll’ I would recommend printing on tea stained paper, then rolling up like a scroll and wrapping some brown leather cord around the scroll.
(If you don't want the hassle of tea staining paper, I have some pre tea stained paper for sale in my Etsy shop) 
 

This 'Puzzle Box' is best solved with 2 or more kids or with a supervising adult. The puzzles have been designed for Children aged 7+ to be able to solve, however everyone thinks differently, which means some children will find it harder than others.
